It is also certified and tested with Dell PowerEdge servers and the Dell/EMC disk portfolio so you don’t have to invest additional resources to achieve compatibility. With service offerings including backup implementation and backup design and assessment, you can ensure your backups are appropriately planned. With the use of LTO-4 and LTO-5 drives and WORM capable and encryption-enabled media, you can keep your data secure from accidental changes, loss, or theft.  The PowerVault ML6000 series uses capacity-on-demand scalability to increase usable capacity easily and non-disruptively. Users simply select an initial confi guration that provides additional tape slots, preinstalled and ready to be activated by a simple software key. When all slots are activated, users can add expansion modules for more capacity. The ML6000 series is designed to automate the retrieval, storage, and management of tape cartridges with exceptional modular scalability. It has a minimum native transfer rate of 80MB/s and grows to a maximum of 140MB/s. You can also scale from 61.5TB of native backup storage capacity to 613.5TB using LTO-5 SAS or fibre channel drives. There is a range of flexible configurations, scaling from one drive to a maximum of 18, and from 41 to 409 cartridge slots. You can even add or remove tape cartridges from the library while it is online, further enabling you to expand your library as your data grows.
